I keep telling myself that looks don’t matter in the ‘real world’- because being on the internet makes me really believe that no one is perfect and that i am more than the fucking clothes that I wear. I really do believe this at home and when I’m with my friends. But as soon as I go out into the ‘real world’, I’m bombarded with fashionable, confident looking girls that make me feel like shit. Suddenly, I doubt my every ability. Suddenly, I can’t even READ as well as everyone else. How could I even compete with them?
